I was recently very privileged to have been asked to contribute to Kieran Lockyear's ongoing Beats Of Music mixtape series, "Straight From The Play Box".
He has pulled together DJs and record collectors from all around the world and asked them to pick out ten 45s from the playbox and share them in a mixtape to give a quick snapshot of what is being played around the world.
Kieran has been hard at work putting these together and has secured some real big hitters on the scene, including Ian Wright, Larry Grogan, Darren Bennett and Greg Belson to name just a few.
The mixes are going up thick and fast so be sure to go through all of them as there's a wealth of excellent music to be grabbed there!
